Ajman University Celebrates the "Class of innovation" in October 2015
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman and His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah. Ajman University will celebrate its 24th batch of graduates under the slogan “Year of Innovation Class”. This is in line with the declaration of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nayhan, President of United Arab Emirates, May Allah Protect Him, to make 2015 as the year of innovation throughout the country. This fosters a stimulating environment of innovation for all and furthers UAE stance amongst innovative countries.
This commencement ceremony will witness the “Class of Innovation” graduating 2092 students. 1477 students from Ajman Campus and 615 students from Fujairah Campus shall be proudly known as the Class of Year of Innovation.
The preparations underway have geared up a notch as students are enthusiastically collecting their invitations and gowns. Ajman University has extended the timings for gown collection to accommodate graduates; they can collect it from 9:00 to 17:00. A dedicated website ( commencement.ajman.ac.ae ) assists the students by providing all the required information and the days’ program along with an exciting countdown timer. This website will broadcast live streaming of the commencement ceremony of the male students from both Ajman and Fujairah Campus.
The Ajman campus will witness the female commencement ceremony on Wednesday, 21st October 2015 and on Thursday 22 October 2015 the male students will have their big day. The Fujairah campus will hold the commencement ceremony on 27th and 28th of October 2015 for male and female students respectively.
Social media is already abuzz with the special hashtag #austgrad15; it is tagging all the memories and preparations being shared by students and Ajman University alike. This year keeping up with the latest trends in the digital world, Ajman University has also added Snapchat, which is very popular amongst students, to the social bouquet of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google Plus.
