Businessman Contributes AED 100,000 to Thamer Fund

Thamer Salman Fund for Educational Solidarity received a generous contribution of AED 100,000 from Mr. Sherif Medhat Kamel, a renowned businessman based in UAE. Thamer Fund aims to support university students who face unprecedented hurdles in the course of their educational journey, which prevents them from fulfilling the graduation requirements.

Mr. Sharif expressed that it is an honor to contribute to Thamer Salman Fund for Educational Solidarity, the number of cases it assists in order to conclude the tenure of education and achieve their degree, is remarkable. He called upon all businesspersons in the UAE to support this Fund to realize the noble goals it is established for.

Notably, the idea of establishing this Fund came in order to support the students to overcome any limitation that might impede their progress towards fulfilling the graduation requirements. A database has been set up to study the cases submitted to the Fund by a committee specializing in humanitarian cases. This is an extension of the discounts and other benefits offered to students. A dedicated page outlines all the information and handles various means of contributing to the Fund; similarly, students can apply online through the same page: thamerfund.ajman.ac.ae.
