Economic Department and Ajman University Strengthen Ties

A delegation from the Economic Development Department in the Emirates of Ajman held several meetings with students in a number of colleges at Ajman University with the goal of forming teams of student volunteers to work on various projects in the emirates and the Economic Department.

The key strategic areas of partnerships to be activated are the research, logistics, and finance amongst others.

The delegation included His Excellency Mohammed Al Saadi, Advisor to the head of the Economic Department and Ms. Fatima Al Shamsi, Head of the Corporate Communications, they were received by Dr. Abdul Haq Al Nuaimi, Vice- Chancellor for Advancement and Communication, Ms. Noor Al Chagouri, Acting Director for Community Service Department.

These meetings took place between the delegation from the Economic Development Department and students of College of Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Media and Humanities. These meeting resulted in the formation of teams that will work for a period of 3 months on various projects overseen by the faculty members. The project will include field trips to the related departments. This project will conclude with the honoring of the winning teams.

Every college will support the project with their specialty and the students will exert efforts and present creative and viable solutions that can effectively and efficiently enhance the productivity of the Economic Department.
