One of his area of research interest includes idiopathic facial and dental pain- its etiology, clinical presentation and medical management with tricyclic ant-depressant; tyramine conjugation deficit as a metabolic marker of idiopathic facial pain; the role of 15 HPETE and oxygen free radicals in TMJ pain and the effect of the placebo analgesic and anti edema res ponse in post operative morbidity. Dr. P.J. Byrne graduated in Dentistry in 1982 from University College Cork. He held various hospital appointments 1982 – 1989 in Ireland and UK . In 1990 he completed his MSc at the Eastman Dental Institute in Periodontology which was awarded with distinction from the University of London . He was awarded the Sir Wilfred Fish Research Prize by the British Society of Periodontology in 1990. Gerry Cleary qualified at the School of Dental Science , Trinity College Dublin in 1982. After a year as House Officer in the Dublin Dental Hospital , he joined a private restorative practice as an associate. He completed his Fellowship in Dental Surgery at Edinburgh in 1987 and from July 1988 to February 1992 attended the M.S.D. Programme in Prosthodontics in Indiana University .
After receiving his Masters Degree and Certificate of post-graduate studies, in March of 1992, he returned to practice in Ireland . Since then he holds a lecturing position in Adult Dental Health at the Dublin Dental Hospital , teaching graduate prosthodontics, and maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics. More |

Dr. Blake graduated from he University of Dublin, Trinity College in 1985. Following successful completion of her FDS she was accepted onto the Orthodontic training program at the University of Toronto graduating in 1992. Following her time in Toronto Dr. Blake moved to the UK where she workes as an orthodontic registrar in Guildford. She then completed her Senior Registrar training in Dublin. Dr. Blake is currently a consultant Orthodontist based in St. James's Hospital in Dublin. Johanna Glennon qualified from Dublin in 1984 and worked for eight years with the National Health Service in the United Kingdom . In 1994 she completed her Masters in Endodontics with Distinction at the University of London .
