Workshops to Enhance Your Career in the Education Sector

In Collaboration with the College of Education and Basic Sciences, The Career Counseling Center held a workshop Titled “Class Management”. The workshop targeted the field training students from the College of Education and Basic Sciences.

It was delivered by expert trainer Ms. Najiba Mohammed Al-Rifai, accredited trainer, International Training Academy, UK. The workshop outlined the key factors of  Class Management Notion and its importance along with the class management patterns and the basics of successful class management.

The trainer displayed main characteristics of successful class management and approaches in dealing with different personality patterns of students. Then she tackled the subjects of class communication and successful communication patterns, teacher competency, effective lesson preparation, and idiosyncrasies of student age groups.

Another remarkable, workshop “Distinguished Teachers” was organized in collaboration with the College of Education and Basic Sciences, delivered by Ms. Najiba. The workshop outlined the characteristics of distinguished teachers, their competencies and approach in class. The learners patterns and the acquisition of approaches in tackling the class problems. It also dealt with the acquisition of successful class management competencies and its importance on effective lesson preparations.

These workshops are few of the many organized by the career counseling center catering to expected graduates in Ajman University of Science and Technology

Participants conveyed that the workshop is quite educational and added value to their skills. They as well were confident they would be able to implement new techniques they have acquired in the workshop.
