AI in Education: Roundtable Discussion and Award Ceremony

On December 5, 2024, Professor Nadir Kheir, Manager of the SSC attended, as Chair and Facilitator, the AI Roundtable Discussion and Award Ceremony organized at University of Wollongong by the European Network for Academic Integrity (ENAI) and following the Teacher Incubator Program held back in October with over 50 educators for interactive workshops and brainstorming sessions. The December gathering, attended from Ajman University also by Obaya Bezeid, Member of ENAI Student Board and Project Coordinator at the SSC,  discussed opportunities and risks of AI emphasizing its transformative role in education. A Green AI paper on GenAI Policy for Education in UAE, in which Prof Kheir was author, was also launched during the event.
