Prof. Nadir Kheir's presentation- AI Symposium

On May 4th, 2024, Prof. Nadir Kheir, Professor at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Manager of the SSC at Ajman University, presented a lighting discussion on "Academic Integrity: The Ethical Dilemma in Academia" at the Academic Integrity Symposium held at Zayed University.  He highlighted the ethical challenges faced by academics in maintaining integrity while striving for international recognition through publications. Prof. Kheir discussed the risks posed by predatory journals, the potential misuse of AI Chatbots, like ChatGPT, and the ethical implications of AI in research.
He outlined the importance of maintaining high ethical standards in a time where technology presents both an opportunity and a challenge.
