The Office of Medical Services observed World Diabetes Day on campus as part of its ongoing commitment to raising awareness about diabetes and promoting the overall health and well-being of the Ajman University community.
Throughout November, the Office is offering comprehensive health assessments to all students, including screenings for vital signs, blood sugar levels, and Body Mass Index (BMI). These assessments aim to increase health awareness, support early detection of potential health issues, and encourage students to take an active role in managing their well-being.
In addition, students received personalised health counselling through one-on-one consultations, where medical professionals provided individualized feedback and tailored lifestyle advice based on assessment results. The services are also expanded to nutritional planning for our students and staff based on BMI and nutritional goals.
The Office of Medical Services commends all students for their enthusiastic participation, which plays a vital role in fostering a more informed, health-conscious, and supportive university community.
