As part of its continued commitment to promoting health and wellbeing across the campus community, the Office of Medical Services, in collaboration with the Office of Human Resources and Al Futtaim Willis Co. LLC / NAS Insurance, successfully organized the Annual On-Campus Flu Vaccination Campaign on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the AU Medical Clinic – Student Hub.
The campaign offered free flu vaccinations to all faculty and staff members along with their insured dependents. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preventive healthcare and to protect the AU community from seasonal influenza.
Such health camps play a vital role in strengthening community wellbeing, encouraging proactive health practices, and fostering a culture of prevention. The initiative also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to Good Health and Well-Being, by promoting accessible healthcare and preventive action within the university community.
The event witnessed an active turnout, reflecting Ajman University’s collective commitment to creating a healthy, resilient, and sustainable campus environment.
