Type of Activity: UN SDGs
Organizer office: Student Housing Office

The Office of Students Housing organized a Cyber Hygiene Awareness Session for our female residents, focusing on cybersecurity and online safety. The session aimed to introduce students to essential concepts related to digital protection and the importance of maintaining safe online behavior.

The session was delivered by Dr. Usman Javed Butt, Assistant Professor at the College of Engineering and Information Technology. His presentation equipped students with practical knowledge on recognizing cyber threats, safeguarding personal information, and adopting responsible digital habits. Through real-life examples and demonstrations, residents gained a clearer understanding of secure online practices and how to navigate the digital environment more confidently.

This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to UN SDG 4: Quality Education, by strengthening students’ digital literacy, and UN SDG 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions, by promoting safety, awareness, and responsible use of technology within our community.
