At Ajman University, innovation and community engagement converged through inspiring student projects focused on health awareness promotion and public wellness innovation. As part of the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) graduation projects at the College of Mass Communication, students developed and launched community-focused digital health solutions designed to support informed decision-making on health, nutrition, and overall well-being.
Supervised by Dr. Dina El-Khattat and Ms. Layal Ayoub, in collaboration with Dr. Fetta Djessas from the Office of Medical Services, the initiatives showcased the power of interdisciplinary collaboration supporting public well-being by integrating health expertise with communication and digital innovation.
The projects were further strengthened by Dr. Fetta Djessas’ valuable contribution through two interactive sessions on first aid, preventive health education, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices. Her mentorship provided students with deeper insight into key public health concerns, enabling them to assess the strengths and limitations of their applications and refine their innovations to better address community health needs.
These initiatives reflect Ajman University’s continuing commitment to advancing health, safety, innovation, and meaningful community impact through student-led projects that address real-world public health challenges.
