The Office of Medical Services (OMS), Ajman University, in collaboration with its healthcare partner Thumbay Labs, organised a Free Medical Camp at the Medical Clinics, Student Hub, welcoming the new academic year with a strong focus on health, well-being and preventive healthcare.
The initiative witnessed an enthusiastic response, with high participation from AU students and staff, along with their family members. By bringing essential health services directly to the University campus, the camp provided convenient and accessible healthcare, enabling members of the AU community to take a proactive approach to their health.
Participants benefited from complimentary preventive health screenings, including CBC, random blood sugar, cholesterol, Vitamin D, blood pressure, and height and weight measurements. Such accessible screening initiatives support early identification of potential health concerns, health awareness and informed health-seeking practices.
The strong participation reflects the AU community's commitment to health and wellness and reinforces OMS's continued efforts to foster a healthy, inclusive and health-conscious university community. Through initiatives that promote accessible healthcare, preventive health, health literacy, student and staff well-being, and community partnership, Ajman University continues to support a healthier and more sustainable campus environment.
