The Office of Student Housing at Ajman University (AU), in collaboration with the Office of Medical Services (OMS) and Saudi German Hospital Ajman, organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Event titled “A Touch of Pink, A Lot of Hope!” on 14 October 2026 at the AU Female Hostel.

The event brought female hostel residents together to learn more about breast health, the importance of early detection, and preventive care. Dr. Marwah Fathy from Saudi German Hospital Ajman led an informative session, supported by Dr. Fetta Djessas, Senior Medical Services Manager at AU, and the university's nursing team.

One of the highlights was a practical breast self-examination demonstration by AU nurses, helping students better understand breast health and become familiar with self-examination techniques. Interactive activities, open discussions, giveaways, and a specially prepared pink cake added to the welcoming atmosphere.

The event provided students with an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and gain useful health information in a supportive setting. It also reflected AU's ongoing efforts to encourage health awareness and well-being across the university community.
