The Office of Medical Services, in collaboration with Mubadarat, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City – Ajman (SKMCA), successfully conducted a Cervical Cancer Awareness Session at the Medical Clinic, Student Hub Building.

The session, delivered by Dr. Ruwa Abdulrahman Hassan, Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at SKMCA, emphasized the critical importance of women’s health, early detection, and prevention through HPV vaccination, which plays a key role in reducing the burden of cervical cancer.

The initiative also encouraged women of all age groups to openly discuss concerns related to sexual and reproductive health, promoting awareness, early help-seeking behavior, and breaking long-standing taboos surrounding women’s health issues. The on-campus event witnessed active participation from the community members including female faculty, staff, and students, fostering meaningful dialogue and empowerment through knowledge.

The Office of Medical Services extends its sincere appreciation to SKMCA and all participants for supporting this impactful women’s health awareness initiative.
