Exploring ideas through conversation can deepen understanding and build new perspectives. Organized by the Counseling Unit at the Center for Inclusive Learning, the “Discussion Circle: Exploring an Influential Book in Psychology,” held on April 27, 2026, gave students the opportunity to engage with meaningful psychological concepts in an interactive setting.
Led by Dr. Amal Bader, Associate Professor at the College of Mass Communication, the session brought together students from different majors to share insights from influential psychology books. Through discussion, students reflected on key ideas, exchanged perspectives, and connected concepts to real-life experiences. They developed a stronger appreciation for reading as a tool for growth while also enhancing skills such as critical thinking, communication, and self-reflection.
