Ajman University conducted a Faculty Development Workshop titled “Enhancing Academic Advising for Student Success” on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, as part of its Spring 2026 initiatives. Organized jointly by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Teaching and Learning Center, the Student Success Center, and the Office of IT, the workshop focused on strengthening academic advising through real student experiences, practical advising scenarios, and data-driven tools.
Designed as a highly interactive and engaging session, the workshop moved beyond traditional policy-focused approaches, offering day-to-day advising examples, reflective discussions, and practical takeaways that can be immediately applied in teaching and advising. A key highlight was a panel discussion featuring experienced colleagues from the University of Birmingham Dubai, Middlesex University Dubai, and Zayed University, who shared expert insights and best practices to support student success.
