The Deanship of Student Services, through the Center for Inclusive Learning and in collaboration with the Teaching and Learning Center, organized an in-person workshop entitled “Not All Barriers Are Visible: Teaching with Inclusion in Mind” on February 12, 2026. The session was delivered to faculty members by Dr. Dalia Bedewy, Associate Professor, College of Humanities and Sciences and Director of the Center for Inclusive Learning; Ms. Samah Abusniemah, Psychological Counsellor; and Dr. Elham Yahia, Assistant Professor, College of Humanities and Sciences. The workshop focused on raising awareness of invisible barriers that may impact student’s learning experiences and emphasized inclusive teaching strategies, accessible course design, and approaches that support diverse learning needs. This initiative reflected the university’s commitment to fostering inclusive education and promoting equitable learning opportunities across the academic community.
