The AU Legal Clinic, supported by the Deanship of the College of Law and in partnership with Al Tamimi Group, aligns with international best practices in legal education. Its primary objectives are to raise legal awareness, provide legal education, and offer free legal consultations, functioning as a center of excellence for both legal education and community service.
The Legal Clinic serves as a key method for advancing legal education in law faculties and schools worldwide, encompassing all types of legal systems. It combines theoretical study with practical and professional experience, allowing students to engage directly with the legal environment.
Law students receive guidance from faculty members while reviewing and drafting legal advice. The Legal Clinic also trains them in preparing legal notes, documents, contracts, and agreements related to friendly settlements or other legal matters. This hands-on experience equips future graduates to become leaders in their field.
Faculty review the students’ work and provide feedback, a process that typically takes up to 14 working days.
