Dr. Ghazi Al-Naymat is a Full Professor of Data Science at the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Ajman University, UAE, where he has served as the Data Analytics Program Coordinator since 2020 and is a full-time member of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center (AIRC). He earned his Ph.D. in 2009 from the School of Information Technologies at The University of Sydney, Australia. He previously served as Chair of the Computer Science Department at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) in Jordan. Alongside his academic leadership, Dr. Al-Naymat serves as a Senior Data Science and AI Consultant with over 15 years of experience translating complex datasets into actionable business strategies, specializing in predictive modeling and machine learning within the financial, environmental, and climate change sectors. An accomplished researcher and mentor, his expertise encompasses Data Mining, Machine Learning, Big Data, Optimization, and Data Science, supported by an extensive record of high-impact publications. He is a recognized member of the IEEE, ACM, and the Australian Computer Society (ACS), continuing to receive accolades for his contributions to research, curriculum development, and the global advancement of AI and data-driven sciences.
