Muhammad Azzam Bin Ismail, Ph.D. in Built Environment (UNSW), is a Research Associate Professor, Professional Technologist, and Graduate Architect who specializes in green architecture and building certifications. He formerly directed the Universiti Malaya Eco Campus, which intended to achieve net zero carbon status by 2030. His grant-funded research focuses on low-carbon cities, sustainability knowledge in architectural education, zero-carbon building assessment, immersive architectural design processes with virtual reality, and the impact of green offices on occupant behavior and job efficiency.
