Ajman University students participated in the Sustainability Forum organized by Dubai Municipality, which brought together specialists, academics, and professionals interested in sustainability. Their participation came as part of the University’s engagement, in collaboration with the Office of Sustainability and students from various disciplines, reflecting the role of youth in supporting environmental efforts and promoting a culture of sustainability.
During the forum, students attended dialogue sessions and specialized discussions on the future of sustainability in the UAE. They gained valuable experience and explored new perspectives on environmental and developmental issues.
The forum also featured an interactive debate that discussed the relationship between clean energy, sustainable transportation, and air quality improvement. This session allowed students to interact, share ideas, and propose solutions for building healthier and more sustainable cities.
Ajman University students also actively participated in the Innovation Lab, where they were divided into two groups to work on challenges related to the circular economy and Dubai Municipality’s sustainability agenda. Through brainstorming sessions, students developed practical and innovative solutions and presented them to the audience, demonstrating their creative thinking and teamwork skills.
This participation reflects Ajman University’s commitment to supporting sustainability initiatives and encouraging students to engage in national events that promote environmental awareness and social responsibility. The University continues to empower students to gain practical experience and develop their leadership skills, helping prepare a conscious generation capable of actively contributing to sustainable development goals.
