Ajman University's Female Med Explorer Club Hosts Virtual Study Skills Workshop for Secondary Students

The Female Med Explorer Club, under Ajman University's Office of Student Life, hosted an interactive virtual study skills workshop for secondary grade students at Shining Star International School, equipping participants with practical learning strategies to strengthen their study habits and support academic success.

Delivered via Zoom, the workshop addressed a common challenge faced by many students: while they devote significant time to studying, they are not always equipped with effective techniques for learning efficiently. Participants were introduced to practical study skills, including active recall, effective note-taking, mind mapping, time management, and collaborative learning, helping them improve comprehension, strengthen memory retention, and build greater academic confidence.

The workshop combined practical exercises with interactive discussions, encouraging students to reflect on their current study habits, identify opportunities for improvement, and begin applying new learning strategies during the session. The hands-on approach demonstrated how purposeful study techniques can improve focus, enhance productivity, and reduce academic stress.

The initiative reflects Ajman University's commitment to community engagement and educational outreach by empowering school students with practical skills that contribute to academic achievement, lifelong learning, and personal development. Through initiatives led by its student clubs, the University continues to inspire young learners, promote educational excellence, and create meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom.
