People of Determination Club Marks Emirati Day for Education: A Turning Point for Lasting Change
The People of Determination Club marked Emirati Day for Education with a powerful, community-centered workshop that aligned with the Office of Student Life's goals for community engagement. The workshop aimed to promote inclusion, empower People of Determination (POD), and showcase their creativity and talents. Led by Dr. Nagwa Yousif, Assistant Professor at the College of Humanities and Science, the session brought together students, families, and faculty in a collaborative setting designed to spark real dialogue and action.
From the start, this was more than a talk. It was a shared space for stories, insights, and plans. Dr. Nagwa guided participants through impactful storytelling, interactive discussions, and real-life success narratives shared by students and families.
