His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, along with H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the graduation ceremony of Ajman University’s Class of 2025 male students. The ceremony, held this morning at the Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions on the campus, celebrated the achievements of over 300 graduates in an atmosphere filled with pride and joy.
The graduation ceremony commenced with the arrival of H.H., the Ruler of Ajman, and his entourage to the ceremony hall, followed by the UAE National Anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran. A video presentation highlighted the University’s mission and key milestones.
In his address, H.H. the Ruler of Ajman praised the remarkable progress of higher education in the UAE, emphasizing that investing in human capital is the nation’s true wealth. He stated that today's graduates are the foundation of the country’s comprehensive development, under the wise leadership of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and his brother H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy President of the State, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai.
His Highness also recognized Ajman University as a beacon of academic and intellectual excellence, noting the significant role of its distinguished graduates in supporting national progress. He commended the efforts of the Board of Trustees, University leadership, and faculty in strengthening AU’s reputation both locally and globally.
His Highness extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduating students and their families, emphasizing that their graduation marks the beginning of a journey filled with professional experiences and meaningful contributions. He wished the graduates success in their academic and professional futures across various fields of work and creativity.
H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stated that as Ajman University celebrates the graduation of the second cohort of the “Class of 2025,” it continues to contribute to human development, advance scientific research, and meet the community’s need for qualified professionals in various specializations. He praised the University’s journey and its continuous efforts in graduating generations armed with knowledge, culture, and values, which have strengthened its standing locally and internationally and enhanced its academic excellence.
H.H. also commended the ongoing efforts of the UAE’s wise leadership in prioritizing education for citizens and the attention given to students, who play an active role in the nation’s comprehensive development and in driving societal progress to build a country that thrives through the light of knowledge and learning.
The ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Tourism Development Department; Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and Vice Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees; H.E. Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Member of the UAE Cabinet, and member of the University's Board of Trustees, as well as heads and directors of government departments, deans of colleges, professors, parents of graduating students, and university guests, including senior personalities and officials. Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, expressed deep gratitude to H.H. the Ruler of Ajman for his continued support and wise leadership, which has played a pivotal role in realizing the University’s vision and strategic goals.
He also praised the unwavering support and visionary leadership of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi in fostering a competitive academic environment that promotes research, innovation, and social responsibility—empowering youth to realize their full potential.
Representing the graduates, Abdullah Hussain Al Rumaithi delivered a heartfelt speech expressing his pride and appreciation on behalf of his fellow graduates. He thanked the UAE’s leadership, university administration, faculty, and families for their steadfast encouragement throughout their academic journey.
H.H. the Ruler of Ajman, accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, honored postgraduate students and top-performing graduates from each college. Meanwhile, H.H. the Crown Prince, along with Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, continued the distribution of certificates to all graduates.
H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi also presented Ajman University shield to H.H. the Ruler of Ajman. The ceremony concluded with a similar shield presented to H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
