The College of Mass Communication Organizes “The Colors That Speak” Initiative in Collaboration with the Center for Inclusive Learning and the Counseling Unit

The College of Mass Communication at Ajman University, in collaboration with the Center for Inclusive Learning and the Counseling Unit, organized a distinguished art initiative titled “The Colors That Speak.” The initiative aimed to promote the values of inclusion and support students in expressing themselves through art. It reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to providing an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all students.

The workshop was led by Huda Al Blooshi, a talented student of determination from the College of Mass Communication, who inspired her peers by sharing her passion for expressive art. During the session, Huda shared her journey and demonstrated how art can be a powerful tool for communication and self-expression, adding a deeply human and emotional dimension to the event.

Participants received hands-on training in expressive art techniques, focusing on using colors as a medium to convey emotions and thoughts. The workshop provided a diverse and interactive space that encouraged creativity and respected individual differences. The initiative was met with enthusiastic participation, as students appreciated the chance to engage in a meaningful artistic experience that combined learning with emotional and social support.

This initiative is part of a broader series of activities conducted by Ajman University as part of its continuous efforts to empower students of all backgrounds and promote their active involvement in University life. Through such programs, the University seeks to foster a culture of inclusion and diversity, while integrating students of determination into all academic and extracurricular activities—highlighting the essential role of art in building understanding, communication, and a sense of belonging.
