1127 students to graduates next week

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, Ajman University is celebrating the graduation of the second batch of the Class of the Year of 2016. 1127 students will be graduating on October 24 and 25.

Chaired by His Highness Ajman Ruler, Ajman University Board of Trustees had earlier this week approved the graduation of this new cohort of students who will join their fellow classmates who graduated last Fall 2016.

Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Acting Chancellor, congratulated the graduates and their families on this occasion, expressing his pride in this batch which bears the name of the Class of Reading Nation, in tribute to the Year of Reading announced by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of United Arab Emirates and the Reading Nation campaign initiated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

In this new ceremony 497 male students will be honored in the presence of his Highness Ajman Ruler and 630 female students in the presence of Her Highness the Consort of Ajman ruler. The new class will join some 32.000 alumni who have graduated from Ajman University since its creation.
