Ajman Ruler provides scholarships to leading high school graduates

Ajman University will provide scholarships to the leading high school graduates in the UAE for their entire university education, in line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Ajman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University.

The directives aim to support excellent students and their academic achievements. H.H. Sheikh Humaid highlighted the necessity of supporting the students so they might continue their studies.

He added that supporting excellent students honours science and encourages future generations to assume their responsibilities towards their country. He also praised the significant role of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, in supporting the educational renaissance and providing great attention to the education sector, as the main sector for training human resources, sharpening their talents and educating future generations who are capable of contributing to the country’s development.

Sheikh Humaid expressed his pride in the excellence of this group of students, while stressing that their excellence reflects their seriousness about education and their appreciation of the efforts of the wise leadership, which provides a dignified life for all citizens, urging them to accomplish greater academic achievements.

Karim Al Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, stressed that the University will grant a full scholarship to the high school student who achieved the top position in the country. The student who achieved second position will receive a 75 percent scholarship while the student who achieved third position will receive a 50 percent scholarship, based on the University’s regulations, he added.

The University will also offer a 100 percent discount to the student in Ajman who achieved first position in local high school results, while the student who achieved second position will receive a 75 percent discount, and the student who achieved third position will be awarded a 50 percent discount, based on the University’s regulations.

The scholarships will include the top students from UAE national high schools. The University has also announced the availability of sports scholarships for student athletes, as well as those who achieved leading positions in national, regional or international science competitions.
