Ajman University Moves Up to #27 in QS Arab Region Rankings 2023

Ajman University has moved up 3 places since last year in the QS Arab Region Rankings 2023 and is now ranked #27 overall. AU has gained a total of 34 places since 2017!

Equally exciting is the fact that AU is now ranked #1 in both International Students and International Faculty (ranked last year as #2 and #9, respectively). We are now officially the most diverse, inclusive, and global institution in the entire Arab Region.

Notably, AU is now ranked #10 in Employer Reputation in the Arab Region – last year our rank was #17. “Our collective efforts to increase our value proposition for students and industry partners is gaining momentum. There’s more we can and will do, per our Strategic Plan 2022-2027, to increase our positioning with current and future employers across the region. But we have made remarkable progress over recent years,” said Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University.

AU’s research capacity and output continue to show exponential growth annually. AU’s ranking in terms of papers per faculty is now #72 – up from #95 last year. “We will keep raising the bar to earn AU a place among the top academic research institutions in the Arab region and beyond,” said Dr. Seghir.

Dr. Seghir added, “I am deeply impressed by the amount of cross-campus teamwork I have seen over the last few years, which is reflected in our latest QS Arab Region ranking achievements. Dreams do not come to those who wait, but to those who are willing to MAKE THEM HAPPEN!”
