Ajman University Hosts a Delegation of International Students in the Winter Study Tour 2024

The Office of International Academic Affairs at Ajman University organized the Winter Study Tour 2024 to promote diversity and cultural exchange among international students, fostering educational paths, research, and cross-cultural communication. Additionally, the tour aimed to highlight and explore the United Arab Emirates' efforts in environmental sustainability across various sectors.

Three colleges from Ajman University – the College of Engineering and Information Technology, the College of Architecture, Art, and Design, and the College of Business Administration – collaborated to organize the week-long Winter Tour. The event hosted a diverse delegation, consisting of 64 students from partner universities of Ajman University, including Caucasus University in Georgia, EPHEC in Belgium, Manipal University Jaipur in India, Woxsen University in India, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany, Hochschule Rhein Main in Germany, ITMO University in Russia, Scientific College of Design in Oman, The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, and University of Malaya in Malaysia. The tour featured a diverse range of recreational and educational activities, including visits to iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, Louvre Museum, Sheikh Zayed Mosque, and Global Village. Additionally, students explored various companies and institutions like Gulf Craft, Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP), Huawei Innovation Centre, Gulf Drug Establishment, Al Baddad Capital Group, Emirates Global Aluminum, Veolia (Moalajah), and ZainTech.

During the industrial visits, seminars, workshops, and sessions were organized to enrich students' academic journey and broaden their knowledge. These activities covered various topics including business, innovation, engineering, and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, students also learned about companies' efforts in environmental sustainability and sustainable development, gaining insights into corporate social responsibility.

The Office of International Academic Affairs at Ajman University fosters educational and research partnerships while promoting student diversity through international visits for students and faculty, supporting scientific research and cultural enrichment. Additionally, the university's colleges organize diverse educational and interactive activities to enhance cultural and educational exchange, fostering shared experiences.
