Ajman University Drives Innovation and Entrepreneurship

In the Academic year 2025, Ajman University Innovation Center (AUIC) advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting quality education (SDG 4). Through experiential learning, innovation-driven education, entrepreneurship development, start-up incubation, industry engagement, and capacity-building initiatives. During Academic Year 2025, AUIC delivered 12innovation and entrepreneurship workshops, engaging 305 students, faculty members, and staff in practical skills development, innovation awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, and knowledge exchange. The Ajman University Innovation Center provided more than 200 hours of mentorship and advisory support to start-ups, strengthening business development, entrepreneurial capacity, start-up growth, and the commercialization of innovative ideas.

Additionally, AUIC delivered 16 hours of technical software programming/vocational training led by industry experts, enhancing digital competencies, technical proficiency, applied learning, and workforce readiness. The Center also facilitated more than 5,000 student volunteer hours supporting start-up branding, visual identity development, and entrepreneurial initiatives, promoting student engagement, experiential education, community contribution, and collaboration between academia and emerging businesses. Through these measurable outputs, AUIC fosters an innovation-oriented learning environment, supports entrepreneurship and start-up development, strengthens university-industry collaboration, develops employability and digital skills, and contributes to sustainable economic growth and an inclusive, knowledge-based economy.
