Ajman University Participates in Liwa Ajman Dates and Honey Festival 2025

H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, inaugurated the 10th edition of the Liwa Ajman Dates and Honey Festival 2025, where Ajman University’s Center for Fine Arts at the Office of Student Life participated by hosting a series of interactive art workshops.

The workshops were conducted by Mona Jebali, Senior Officer, Arts and Student Activities.They attracted participants of all ages, offering them an engaging artistic experience designed to foster aesthetic awareness and encourage creative expression.

The workshops varied in topics and approaches, providing participants with opportunities to explore new artistic techniques, refine their creative skills, and express their ideas and emotions through art.The Liwa Ajman Dates and Honey Festival, organized annually by the Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) at the Emirates Hospitality Centre, features a diverse program of activities and events. It celebrates palm cultivation and agricultural production while encouraging local farming to support the community and promote sustainable tourism.

The festival also showcases artistic and entertainment performances, traditional celebrations, competitions for all ages, educational sessions on palm cultivation and beekeeping, and specialized workshops in traditional crafts. A dedicated children’s corner offers creative, educational, and cultural activities, making the festival a platform for learning, enjoyment, and the celebration of cultural and national identity.

The Center for Fine Arts participation in the Liwa Ajman Dates and Honey Festival 2025 reflects its mission to strengthen community engagement and actively contribute to national events that celebrate Emirati heritage and culture.
