H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi Witnesses the Signing of Two MoUs Between Ajman University and Chongqing University & Southwest University

As part of his official visit to the People’s Republic of China, H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, witnessed the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding between Ajman University and two of China’s leading academic institutions. This milestone reflects the University’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and strengthening strategic academic partnerships.

The MoUs were signed by Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, with Chongqing University and Southwest University during an official ceremony held in Chongqing.

These partnerships aim to foster academic collaboration between Ajman University and the two Chinese institutions through student and faculty exchange programs, joint research projects, dual degree programs, short academic visits, exchange of academic materials and publications, as well as practical training opportunities and technical cooperation.

The agreements represent a strategic step in reinforcing Ajman University’s position as a leading non-profit academic institution with a global presence. They align with the UAE’s national vision and Ajman’s commitment to advancing education, research, and innovation, while fostering a sustainable, knowledge-based economy. The partnerships also reflect the emirate’s dedication to building strong academic and cultural ties with top universities worldwide in support of its development goals and global competitiveness.
