The Consort of Ajman’s Ruler Attends the Commencement of the Second Cohort of Ajman University’s Class of 2025

Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan, consort of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, President of the Umm Al Moumineen Society, and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Rashid Bin Humaid Culture and Sciences Award, attended Ajman University’s commencement ceremony of the second cohort - Class of 2025. The event celebrated more than 400 female graduates from undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

In a speech delivered on this occasion, Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan expressed her profound joy and pride in the graduation of this distinguished group of students. She emphasized that this achievement reflects the ongoing efforts of the UAE’s wise leadership to promote education and empower women as vital contributors to the nation’s comprehensive development.

She also extended her gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, for his continuous efforts to elevate the university’s regional and international stature, and for his commitment to nurturing and investing in creative minds in pursuit of advanced knowledge.

Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan praised the vital role women play in building communities and nurturing hope, highlighting that today’s graduates embody resilience and ambition, serving as an inspiration for future generations of young women striving for excellence across various fields.

She congratulated the graduates on their dedication and hard work throughout their years of study and encouraged them to continue their journey of learning and giving back, urging them to actively contribute to the development and betterment of their communities.

Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Services at Ajman University, delivered a speech on behalf of the University in which she expressed sincere appreciation to Her Highness for her steadfast support of education, knowledge, and youth, as well as her role in fostering positivity and progress within the university. She also extended thanks to the faculty and administrative staff for their ongoing guidance, encouragement, and support of students throughout their academic journey.

Graduate Badour Jamal Abdullah delivered the graduates’ speech, expressing heartfelt thanks to Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan for her gracious presence and patronage of the second cohort’s graduation ceremony. She acknowledged the ongoing support of the faculty throughout their academic journey and highlighted the university’s inspiring environment, which equipped them with the skills needed to thrive in the job market.

 

Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan honored the female graduates in recognition of their academic achievements and success on this special occasion.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan was presented with the University’s shield by Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, in appreciation of her sincere efforts in supporting education and advancing the role of women in society.
