The Pediatrics Club Organizes “Pink Shirt Day” at Al Shoala Private School

The Pediatrics Club at the Deanship of Student Services organized a “Pink Shirt Day” event at Al Shoala Private School, aiming to raise awareness about the dangers of bullying and to promote values of kindness, respect, and empathy among students within a school environment that encourages understanding and tolerance.

This initiative is part of the club’s efforts to support children’s mental and social well-being through educational programs and community outreach activities that help build a safe and healthy learning environment.

The program featured a series of interactive activities and awareness sessions led by club members, focusing on educating students about the different forms and effects of bullying. It also emphasized the importance of respect and encouraged students to stand by their peers and uphold human values within their school community.

The event was met with strong engagement from all participants, who praised its role in fostering a positive school culture, strengthening students’ sense of social responsibility, and promoting behaviors rooted in empathy and mutual support.

Pink Shirt Day is a global awareness initiative that aims to combat bullying by encouraging participants to wear pink shirts as a symbol of solidarity with victims and to promote a culture of kindness, acceptance, and respect in schools.

This initiative reflects Ajman University's commitment to supporting educational and social causes through awareness-driven programs that encourage positive behavior. It also highlights the efforts of the Deanship of Student Services in empowering student clubs to lead meaningful, community-based activities that spread messages of respect and tolerance.
