How to Apply:
- Create an Account: Visit the Ajman University application portal and create your account through the following link: Sign In
- Log In: Access your application by logging into the Ajman University application portal.
- Start Your Application: Click on "Start a New Nafis Application" to begin the process.
Note: You must first apply through Nafis website: nafis.gov.ae.
Required Documents:
- High School Certificate.
- Father’s UAE ID.
- Signed Nafis Contract (must be completed at the university. If you are between 18 and 21 years old, your guardian must accompany you).
- Family Book (page containing the family book number, family number, and town number).
- Passport (page containing the file number and unified number).
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor of Pharmacy:
- Duration: 4.5 years.
- Must be a UAE national, not exceeding 25 years of age.
- A minimum score of 70% in the Elite Track or 75% in the Advanced Track in thehigh school certificate – UAE Ministry of Education.
- A minimum score of 80% in the following subjects: English, Mathematics, and two science subjects in the high school certificate – UAE Ministry of Education.
- Tuition Fees: AED 61,000 per year.
- Admission Fees: AED 1,365.
- Must pass the personal
Bachelor of Nursing:
- Duration: 4 years.
- Must be a UAE national, not exceeding 25 years of age.
- Tuition Fees: AED 49,500 per year.
- Admission Fees: AED 1,365.
- A minimum score of 60% in the Elite Track, 65% in the Advanced Track, or 70% in the General Track in the high school certificate - UAE Ministry of Education.
- A minimum score of 80% in English in high school certificate–UAE Ministry of Education.
- Must pass the personal interview.
Contract Details:
- The Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council – Nafis – covers tuition fees for the approved program at the educational institution, including the duration of study and credit hours as agreed upon between the Council and the institution. However, Nafis does not cover the costs of retaking any courses.
- The Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council covers tuition fees and other study-related expenses are according to the applicable regulations. The semester stipend granted to students under the program is calculated based on their cumulative GPA and applies only during the study period. Any extra days beyond the study period are not covered. (Accommodation and transportation costs are not included.)
- The stipend is granted only to students admitted directly into the approved specializations and is calculated based on their semester GPA for the same term. Payments are made at the end of each semester, with the financial stipend disbursed through the educational institutions.
- In the case of complete academic failure, the student must repay all funds received to the Council.
- If a student withdraws from the program or drops a course before or during the semester (after the add/drop period), they must fully repay the amount for the withdrawn course or program.
Requirements and Conditions for Joining the Initiative:
- The applicant must be a UAE national (with a Family Book).
- The minimum educational qualification must be a high school diploma.
- The applicant’s age must not exceed 25 years.
- The applicant must not be employed in the private or public sector.
- The applicant must meet the minimum requirements specified by the program.
- The applicant must not be sponsored by any other organization.
- Upon graduation, the student must work within the UAE in a medical facility for a duration equal to the length of the study program.
Approved Stipends for Bachelor's Level and Equivalent:
The student (holding a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) will receive the stipend at the end of each semester, based on the approved cumulative GPA for that semester, and will continue to receive it until graduation.
