The Council of Information, Research and Training at Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) held the seventh edition of the Student Research Conference. This edition brought together more than 50 research papers, ranging between individual projects and collective endeavours of AUST graduating students. The first day was reserved for research papers prepared by AUST female students while the second day was dedicated to their male colleagues. The projects were supervised by a number of highly qualified and specialized faculty members, and took place in 6 rooms in the University’s multi-purpose facility, the Sheikh Zayed Centre for Conferences and Exhibitions.
The conference started with the presentation of students’ research projects, which were followed by deliberation sessions held by members of the jury to assess the participating projects. Afterwards, an award ceremony was held to honour the best and most distinguishing research papers.

It is the engine of progress in all developed nations and no genuine reform or development can be successfully carried out without given the required position and providing the necessary tangible and intangible support to research.” He added.
Dr. Ankit said that each student who joins Ajman University should consider him/herself as a researcher who is required to create and innovate. “The University will provide the necessary guidance and facilities to help the student turn his ideas into research projects that are applicable in real life.” He explained.
