HH Sheikha Sara Bint Hamad Al-Sharqi Attends Commencement Ceremony At Fujairah Campus, Ajman University

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohamed Al-Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Fujairah, Ajman University of Science & Technology, Fujairah Campus, organized this year's graduation ceremony for female graduates at Sheikh Khalifa Hall in Fujairah. The ceremony was held in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Sara Bint Hamad Al-Sharqi, and attended by Sheikha Dr. Maryam Al-Sharqi, Ms. Dhabya Mohamed Al-Nuaimi, the spouse of Mr. Osama Saeed Salman, Vice President of the University, Ms. Noora Musa Al-Jasim, the spouse of H. Excellency Saeed Mohamed Al-Raqbani, the Special Advisor to the Ruler of Fujairah.

Her Highness Sheikha Sara Bint Hamad Al-Sharqi congratulated female graduates on the successful outcome of their years of university study, wishing them all the best in their future careers and professions. Her Highness also urged female graduates to dedicate their sincere efforts and acquired expertise to make a significant contribution to the development of their country.

At the close of the ceremony, the 453 female graduates, representing 8 degree-awarding colleges at Fujairah Campus, were honored by receiving their certificates from Her Highness Sheikha Sara Bint Hamad Al-Sharqi. This was followed by Ms. Dhabya Mohamed Al-Nuaimi's presentation of the University shield to H. Highness Sheikha Sara Bint Hamad Al-Sharqi as a gesture of appreciation of her contribution and support of the University at all levels of activity.

At an earlier stage of the proceedings, Sheikha Dr. Maryam Al-Sharqi, member of faculty at the College of Dentistry, Ajman University (Fujairah Campus), had expressed the University's indebtedness to His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah for the continued and increasing support for the University. Sheikha Dr. Maryam Al-Sharqi also stressed the significance of the graduation of the "Year of Innovation" batch since this seeks to translate in concrete terms the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashed Al-Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and his declaration of 2015 as a "Year of Innovation".

Speaking on behalf of female graduates, Ms. Futtaim Abdulla Al-Kendi praised the role of His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah in making education a top priority and in encouraging and supporting educational achievement. In return, students and graduates would always demonstrate their loyalty and allegiance to their country and its inspired leadership.
