Ajman University Signs MoU with Yonsei University in South Korea

Ajman University of Science and Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Yonsei University, one of the leading universities in South Korea.

The MoU falls within both universities’ strategy for international cooperation development in the areas of education, training and scientific research. The MoU was signed by Mr. Thamer Saeed Salman, AUST Vice President and Prof. Insung Lee, Chancellor of Yonsei University; in the presence of senior officials and deans from either side.

The agreement promotes exchanging visits and expertise between faculty members as well as student exchange programs. It also provides for developing teaching, training and research between the two institutions through the organization of joint specialized workshops and conferences and delivery of joint training programs and lectures for the benefit of student communities in both campuses.

As a start-up venture, the two parties agreed to explore cooperation opportunities in the programs related to environment, health sciences and biomedical engineering, in terms of curricula development and exchange of ideas and information about the newest trends and developments that occur in these specializations.
