Ajman University Sports Team Shine at Tournaments

Ajman University team achieved third place in the Table Tennis Championship at the Tournament for Higher Education Institutions, which witnessed a remarkable participation from 14 Universities and Colleges.

The players Anas Khalil from the College of Dentistry, Wael Abu Maqurah, College of Engineering, Mouaz Faisal Mohammed from the College of Information Technology and Mohammed Abdel-Badie Agiza from the College of Engineering, and Mohammad  Alttamimi from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences had represented Ajman University at this tournament.

In Taekwondo Championship at UAE University Al Ain, Talal Mohammed Maaz Zarkali from the College of Engineering secured the second place weighing 58kg. Both players Abdul Hadi Khalid (weight less than 74 kg) and Ali Mirza Hassan Ramadan (weight +87kg) from the Faculty of Information, Mass Communication and Humanities secured the third place in the Championship.

Department of Student Affairs congratulated the students and commended them on their remarkable performance.
