First Position at International Environment Competition
Students from the Architectural Engineering Department at Ajman University of Science and Technology secured the first position in the Environmental competition entitled “Ajman Creek Challenge”. It was a competition organized by Ajman Planning and Municipality Department on the sidelines of the 4th International Environment Conference held in Ajman.
The international conference focused on “Smart Cities and Green Innovation” in the Emirates of Ajman, United Arab Emirates and around the world. Ajman university team provided a comprehensive analysis for the Creek area in Ajman. This analysis consists of environmental solutions, urban design scenarios, social comfort and satisfaction and future planning vision for the are assigned.
There were several other universities participating in this competition. Ajman University participated with two teams who got the first prize, the second place was secured by American University in Sharjah and the third place was for Emirates University.
Ajman University is proud of its students who won this competition and proved yet again that winning has become a tradition at the University and its students can prove their mettle in any given field.
