Job Shadow Day for AUST Students in Majid Al Futtaim Group

In line with Ajman University of Science & Technology's comprehensive vision to merge education, information, and investment, AUST students participated in an exciting workshop, which encouraged them to display their entrepreneurship capabilities and innovation.

In the framework of cooperation between Ajman University of Science and Technology and Injaz-UAE, the Department of Community Service at AUST organized a series of job shadow days at Majid Al Futtaim Group. The participating students were from the Colleges of Engineering, Information Technology, Media and Business Administration.

AUST students got to experience the many departments at the company including; Public Relations, Administration, IT, Accounts and Human Resources. They were briefed about the day-to-day operations of each department and the relevance their work has on the entire group’s operations.

These trips are organized to benefit the students by helping them prepare for their career, and discover career possibilities in different industries. Till date 310 students have gained practical insight through the initiative of Injaz and AUST.
