I'm a fourth year medical student who has a great passion for learning about the human body! In my free time, I like to be with my family, exercise vigorously, and read fiction novels. As an aspiring doctor, I seek to become a well-rounded person equiped with as many skills necessary to carry out a complex endeavor such as becoming a medical practitioner. To achieve this, I became a person who is very sociable, commited, strong-minded and willed, as well as a diligent person. If there was something I consistently enjoyed doing throughout my past academic experiences, it would be the act of teaching and guiding those who needed it. I enjoy breaking down concepts/steps to someone who struggled to grasp it, only for it to click into place after just a bit of guidance provided to them. Therefore, when Dr. Erum told me repeatedly during my OSCE examination to become a peer tutor for professional communication skills, I immediately took an interest. Communicating with patients is a cornerstone in the art of medicine, and isn't an easy skill to hone. That is why I'm committed in trying my best to simplify and breakdown the elaborate and laborious steps involved in OSCE training; in an effort to help students who find it difficult.
