“Legal System of the Franchise Contracts” .

The thesis outlined that the franchise contract is one of the recently known contracts, wherein it stipulated the supply tool for products and services.
However, the franchise contract apply on two parties, the first party is the franchise provider called Franchisor, who release his trade mark and goodwill to the other party who called the franchisee, who will get the products and services of the franchisor.
Thus, the franchisee will benefit from the famous trade mark and goodwill of the franchisor and the franchisor will benefit by providing his products and services in global markets, in addition to the support and cooperation that will be provided by the franchisor, such as training, recruiting, consulting and the technical operation information.

The franchisor will provide his support and cooperation against a payment agreed upon in the contract.
Although the franchise contracts are well spread in our Arabian countries, but there is no act that regulates it. Khalid AL Rashid seeks to propose laws that regulate the franchise contracts for the mutual benefit of both parties concerned.

The jury was composed of Dr.Alaa Alneemi, President of the committee; Dr.Zena Ghanim, Supervisor and  Member and Dr. Mostafa Abo Alenin, Member of the judging committee along with the Dean of College of Law.
