Ajman University Women’s Volleyball Team Secures Second Place in the UAE University Games

The Ajman University Women’s Volleyball Team achieved an outstanding sports accomplishment by securing second place in the UAE University Games Championship, following strong performances and intense competition among leading university teams.

Throughout the championship, Ajman University students demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship, determination, and commitment to achieving distinguished results while proudly representing the University in a highly competitive atmosphere that reflected the remarkable development of university sports in the UAE.

The championship witnessed the participation of 47 universities and more than 2,700 students competing in 700 matches across 8 different sports, reflecting the scale and competitiveness of the event at the university level.

This accomplishment adds another achievement to Ajman University’s growing sports record and reflects the efforts of the Athletics Unit in supporting talented student-athletes and promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork among female students.

The Ajman University Women’s Volleyball Team included: Shahd Raed Balousha – Team Captain, Hany Liban, Marwa Ibrahim Osman, Hanan Taib, Beheshta Faizi, Ruaa Ramadan, Talah Fadi Alazayem, Lana Jihad Yousef Abdeljalil, Naya Alfatal, Sohiba Abdulrahman, Ameera Yusuf Abdulla, Hoor Waleid Elhakim, and Tala Loay, under the supervision of Women’s Volleyball Coach, Captain Nashwa Sami.

This participation reflects Ajman University’s commitment to supporting sports talents and developing students’ skills both inside and outside the classroom. It also highlights the University’s dedication to promoting teamwork, discipline, positive competition, and a motivating environment that encourages students to achieve excellence across different fields.
