QS Ranks AU 45th Overall in Arab World, 2nd for International Students

Making things happen every year and everywhere seems to be a journey with no end for Ajman University (AU). The institution seems to find success in every opportunity, and the results are impressive.

According to the 2020 QS Arab Region Rankings, announced on October 30, Ajman University is now ranked among the top 45 institutions in the region.

AU Chancellor, Dr. Karim Seghir said that Ajman University, for the first time in three years, has broken out of the “ranges” by earning the exact rank of #45 in the Arab World.

“Equally exciting is the news that we earned even higher rankings in select categories: 2nd for International Students, 10th for International Faculty, and 30th for Employer Reputation.”

The QS Arab Rankings have become increasingly competitive in recent years as universities see their impact on everything from student enrollment to global visibility, he added.

“AU has benefited greatly by its rise in the QS Rankings,” Dr. Karim said. “We have built a name that is recognized around the world for our commitment to innovation, diversity, inclusion, social responsibility, and excellence.”

Every single person in the AU Community plays a role in our results, he underlined.

“Ajman University is on the global map of higher education because we practice our core values and we value our mission.”

Ajman University, recognized as an emerging leader on the global academic map, has also been ranked by QS to be among the top 800 institutions worldwide.

“The 2020 QS World University Rankings lists AU in the top 2.8% universities worldwide and among top 1.7% institutions in the Arab world,” he added.

Ajman University additionally earned a spot among top 150 universities under 50 years within QS “Top 50 Under 50.” Furthermore, QSWUR 2020 has ranked Ajman University 4th for international faculty and 6th for international students in the entire world.
