Disability Support

The Counseling Unit, in collaboration with the Office of Medical Services, Office of University Facilities and Services, Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid, Office of Student Success and Office of Student Life support students with disabilities. This is in line with the People of Determination Policy that ensures compliance with the "National Policy for Empowering People with Special Needs" and offers inclusion opportunities for students to have equal access to the University's academic programs and services. AU is committed to providing a supportive environment where students with special needs or disabilities are encouraged to join AU Community and fully participate in its social experience without barriers or discrimination.

Committee on Students with Disabilities

The Committee on Students with Disabilities has a mandate to implement and advise on policies, programs, and trainings related to accessibility and inclusion. This committee will foster AU's commitment to equal rights of students with disabilities to be actively involved in University activities and student life.
