Faculty Workshop: Academic Support and Advising

In collaboration with the Teaching and Learning Center at Ajman University, the Student Success Center (SSC) organized a faculty workshop focused on Academic Support and Advising. The workshop was presented by Prof. Nadir Kheir, the Manager of the SSC, along with faculty members from various departments, including Dr. Akram Ashames, Assistant VCAA and a faculty member from the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Maher Itani from the College of Business Administration, and Dr. Antony Mathews from the College of Medicine. The workshop aimed to inform and update Faculty Advisors on key elements of the new Student Academic Support plan. Additionally, it provided valuable insights, tips, and guidance on best practices in academic advising. The collaborative effort sought to enhance the capabilities of Faculty Advisors in supporting students effectively within the framework of the university's academic initiatives.
