Breast Cancer Awareness Event Empowers Female Residents

On October 14, 2025, the Office of Students Housing, in collaboration with the Office of Medical Services and Saudi German Health UAE, organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Event at the Female Hostel. The initiative aimed to empower female residents with essential health knowledge and emphasize the importance of early detection.

Medical professionals conducted an informative session on women’s health and demonstrated breast self-examination techniques, followed by a hands-on workshop using breast models. The interactive session helped participants gain a clearer understanding of breast cancer stages and effective self-check methods.

The event also featured pink-themed pastries, giveaways, vouchers, and gifts, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. Such initiatives play a vital role in promoting sexual and reproductive health awareness among young women, encouraging open dialogue and preventive practices.

This program reaffirmed Ajman University’s commitment to fostering a safe, informed, and health-conscious residential environment through continuous education and community engagement.
