As a part of its continuous commitment to promoting the health and well-being of the AU community, the Office of Medical Services, in collaboration with Thumbay Labs, organized a two-day Free Medical Camp on 17 & 18 September 2025 to mark the beginning of the academic year.
The initiative aimed to encourage preventive healthcare, raise awareness of essential health issues, and reaffirm AU’s dedication to the well-being of its faculty, staff, students, and their families.
A wide range of complementary services was offered, including Complete Blood Count (CBC), blood sugar, cholesterol, and Vitamin D testing, as well as height, weight, and blood pressure monitoring.
The camp witnessed the participation of around 800 AU community members and their families, who expressed high levels of satisfaction and appreciation for the initiative.
The activity was widely recognized as a valuable step toward building a healthier, more engaged, and better-informed university community.
