Ajman University Participates in “Expo 971” Festival Celebrating Emirati Heritage

Ajman University took part in the cultural festival “Expo 971,” organized by the Ruwak Ousha Bint Hussein Cultural Foundation from November 1 to 3, 2024, at Mushrif National Park in Dubai. Held under the theme “Heritage... Our Identity,” the festival coincided with the UAE Flag Day celebrations and was supported and sponsored by the Farjan Fund.

The festival aimed to reinforce national pride and promote Emirati identity by highlighting the country’s rich heritage and traditional crafts. It also sought to inspire younger generations to embrace and preserve the cultural values deeply rooted in the nation’s history.

The event featured art exhibitions by Emirati artists, interactive and hands-on workshops, dedicated programs for people of determination, folkloric performances, and cultural sessions that reflected the vibrant traditions of Dubai.

Ajman University’s participation in this event reflects its strong commitment to community engagement and cultural preservation. It also highlights the University’s active role as a partner in national initiatives that strengthen identity and belonging among students and society at large.
